Kelly always has a postie attitude & this flows through the service. when supporting residents she supports them the best way she is able to & always has them engaging if new activities throughout the day. When Kelly is n shift you know the residents will have a great day and will be full of joy and laughter which echos through the service.
Dawn is a very hard working member of staff at Longfield. I can always guarantee that when Dawn isn’t supporting our service users she’s filling her time cleaning every nook and carry of Longfield House. Thanks for helping make Longfield clean, fresh and tidy. We appreciate all that you do 🙂
Since my transfer to Longfield House, Paul has supported me to develop within my role along. Thanks to Paul I have gained my confidence with managing situations and speaking with professionals.

Pam has worked at Longfield for 10 years and in that time she has always put in 100%. Pam has the service users wants and needs at the heart of everything she does. When new staff are employed by Longfield they shadow Pam and she shows them how to support the service user in line with their care plan.

Joe has increased the number of activities, and has gone above and beyond in finding new and exciting opportunities for our residents to get involved in. Joe always has a positive attitude, and is always up for a challenge. Everyone is so impressed with how activity engagement has improved with him in post, thank you for your hard work Joe!
Tom frequently goes out of his way to support the service and ensure continuity for service users and support for his colleagues.
Tom Recently came in on his weekend off and drove for two hours either way (over 100 miles each way) to support a family and a service user when they were experiencing challenges whilst they were away on leave.
We have recently been struggling to get a resident motivated to get up for the day and Dean has put a lot of hard work into finding out what works best in this situation and making sure that it is communicated effectively to the whole staff team so we can put the most effective plan in place to support the resident to have a more fulfilled day.
Teresa has a really good relationship with many of Norcott’s service users and can see when they have become sad or upset. Teresa often plans activities that are person centred and organises them so that they run smoothly.Teresa is a good listener and she also makes a great cuppa.Teresa has lots of creative ideas that she puts to good use.
I believe Summer has grown so much as a Support Worker and is ready for her next role as a Senior/Team Leader when the opportunity arises. Summer has shown so much potential and is always looking out for the best outcome of the people in our care by working towards a person-centered way. Summer has a great working relationship with her colleagues.
I would like to nominate Sam because of how supportive she has been to me recently. Sam will always find time to check in on me, and never fails to lend an ear in time of need. She always knows the right thing to say to make things better… Not to mention all the times Sam covers minute taking when I am on leave! Thanks for everything Sam! x
Oxley recently had a new admission, Amarraah has worked tirelessly throughout the first few months to settle the resident into their new home. picking up shifts, working with the staff team to ensure consistency is maintained, liaising with family, reviewing care plans and support strategies and putting in 110% every day she is at work.
After a difficult incident, Megan continued to be present on the ward and support her team despite appearing slightly stressed by the day’s events. She goes above and beyond for the service users and has great relationships with the service users. She is a credit to the team! Thank you Megan!
