Ayaaz is a wonderful example of a role model for Cygnet. He is so supportive to everyone he meets. He is responsive to requests, proactive, identifies issues and helps before you even know there’s a need. He goes out of his way to help others, ensuring that their IT needs are met, he is very responsive and he’s a genuinely lovely colleague!
it was nice to see Sonia using her knowledge learnt in her moving and handling training to support one of our residents out into the community by wheel chair which was very positive to see.resident had a really good time. Sonia was able to feedback to staff team and explain her experience and how proud it made her feel.

Bex has demonstrated incredible resilience and hard work in the past several weeks/months after various changes within the psychology department at her service. She has continued to support her team and wider services, taken on additional responsibilities and continued to manage this well with good humour and commitment. Well done Bex!
Dave started at the Phoenix School in September 23, and since then he has worked really hard to make the (arguably dry) subject of maths fun! He’s livened it up with tactile learning, board games, and practical sessions to really engage our young people. He also hosted a great fun day for NSPCC Number Day in February which everyone really enjoyed!
Kerrie is one of the staff who work in the background and more than often their efforts go unrecognised as they don’t interact with patients directly. Kerrie is meticulous in her planning for ward rounds and disseminating reports to external partners, amidst all the crisis and pressure on meeting deadlines she maintains a smile & keeps going.
Jenny has helped with the setup of our new library as well as providing the SLT team with much needed structure.
Jenny is passionate about the role of SLT and regularly demonstrate this by ensuring that patients have access and opportunities to express themselves and communicate effectively.
Damien will to often go the shop on his break for new admissions and has come in on AL to take Clozapine bloods. Due to the nature of PICU patients and being the one taking their bloods he can often be targeted. Damien never lets this get him down continues to be supportive of the patients and going above and beyond for them
I want to nominate Aaron for Support because they go above and beyond when it comes to the Service Users on the ward Aaron is Medical Secretary for. Aaron has designed a number of different fun forms for the Service users to fill in before they come to CPA or Ward Round which has helped them have a voice in their meetings, Great Work Aaron 🙂
Penny has recently joined conifers/marion and is making a huge difference to the lives of the residents we support as well and creating a more open culture for staff to express there feelings and ideas. It is a great pleasure to be working alongside Penny so this is a thank you from myself and the team, we cannot wait to see what the future holds.
When supporting a S/U at the end of their life, he did not hesitate to provide me with the support, comfort & understanding needed. I will never take for granted the kindness & compassion he provided for me during this time. And that allowed me to be who I needed to be for others. Amit always made me feel respected and valued.
Beth has put great effort into having a psychologically informed service that is outstanding in its care and compassion to SU. She has been resilient in her pursuit of a service to be proud of, despite bumps along the way. Beth never tires in her push forward, supporting others and offering her knowledge and insight to grow the service. Well done!
We’ve had some positive environmental changes at the service recently, with Phil taking lead on renovation projects. Phil impressed me with his understanding of the individuals we support. He considers their needs with every maintenance decision he makes and has taken the lead on projects, thinking about how people would best make use of spaces.
